About the Event
Day 1 – Meeting the Plants and Making Your Magical Tools
Explore the gardens in search of plants for our potions. Young potion-makers will meet the plants of the garden, create their own wands from Elder wood, and begin their field journals. Through a quiet “plant listening” practice, they’ll choose special flowers and leaves to press for a painting project on Day 3.
Day 2 – Scent, Protection and Potion Making
On Day 2, we’ll explore how plants can support how we feel. Campers will again listen to the garden as they choose herbs to create their own protection spray and potion perfume, learning how scent, intention, and nature come together in everyday magic.
Day 3 – Growing and Creating Your Magic
On Day 3, we bring it all together. Each child will create a potion garden to take home and design a pressed flower painting, weaving together the plants they’ve worked…
